Set in the picturesque village of Cheddington, on the Buckinghamshire / Bedfordshire borders, the Three Horseshoes (or ‘The Shoes’ to the locals) is a pretty traditional village inn. Dating back to around the 1500’s, the pub has always been at the centre of village life in Cheddington and is the venue for many village occasions, both social and formal.
Being close to the National Trails of the Ridgeway, the Grand Union canal, the Ashridge Estate and numerous Cycle Routes and pathways, The Shoes is a popular resting and refreshment stop for walkers and cyclists alike.
In addition the local area is blessed with a number of high quality golf courses, an historic windmill in Pitstone and a Natural History Museum in Tring.
